Glen
D Pierce Director of Ministries/Missionary
With 30 plus years leading and
serving on short term mission teams, I have learned that the most
important thing about serving God on mission is being in a
spiritually right relationship with Jesus Christ. God has called me
to assist and even guide other believers to become spiritually
prepared to join Christ in His eternal work of salvation.
I have had the privilege of seeing
many individuals as well whole churches come into a relationship
with Christ that turned a mediocre Christian life or ministry into
an awesome abundant daily walk with our Lord. The difference between
another good mission trip and an eternally transforming experience
is determined by our spiritual rightness before we ever leave home.

Missions is not a program of the
church, rather it is the program of the church. Jesus has
commissioned us to go
and make disciples, go
and preach the
gospel, proclaim
to all the nation. He said, the Father has sent
me
I am sending you, you will be my witness
to the end of the
earth. Its this thought that has driven me to lead the churches I
have served to be on mission for God, both at home and abroad. The
ministry of CrossVision was an answer to prayer for me when I didnt
know where to start or what to do. They came along side me and
taught me that the secret to a successful mission is not where you
go or even working out all the details and logistics. The secret is
simply to get focused on Christ. Today I serve as a CrossVision
director because I believe in it. I believe in it because I have
been changed and my ministry has been shaped by it.

Director/Treasurer/CFO
Short term missions has been a life
changing experience for me and my family. I am reminded regularly
of the brevity of this life we have on earth, the value of every
second, and the need to use our time wisely, investing in the things
that have eternal value.
Cross Vision is a unique support ministry
that gives people the opportunity to invest wisely and to impact the
kingdom of God. Whether it be the lives that are changed in a far
away / different culture when they understand and accept the Gospel,
or lives changed because a believer has grown as they experience
God while serving on a mission, CrossVision is all about changed
lives.
I am grateful to be a part and excited to watch God continue
to guide and multiply.
Mike Hymer
- Director
The core emphasis of Cross Vision is
about helping fellow believers to fulfill the "great commission" of
our Lord in Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations..."
Through spiritual
preparation and their willingness to be obedient to the leadership
of the Holy Spirit, team members can participate in being discipled
and discipling others before, during and after their mission trip.
True
transformational discipleship will not only result in kingdom growth
through new believers, but it will also provide team members a
deeper faith, stronger relationship with Christ and a sweeter
fellowship with our Heavenly Father.
Misty Bridges - Director
Working with CrossVision has been such a
blessing in my life personally, and spiritually. It has bridged the
gap between a good works mission trip and a truly God appointed and
led mission trip. Its a privilege for me to work with teams and
individuals preparing to take the Message of Christs love to the
field, whether it is working and encouraging women or on a
medical/dental team, the focus is always setting our eyes upon Jesus
prior to leaving home.
A true blessing occurs when the Holy
Spirit is leading a team united in Him; this includes the blessings
within the team as well as watching the Lord bless those we are
serving.
