CROSSVISION MISSION
FEBRUARY 2010
NEWS & UPDATE

“…With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

I hope you are seeing God do impossible things in your life. He is certainly doing something amazing with and with-in CrossVision. I have never been one to listen to negative rhetoric from the doubting majority but at times I do question whether or not I heard God correctly. The end of 2009 and the start of 2010 have been saturated with, what seems to many are, impossible task for a very small support base ministry to even consider. But even as I write this update those impossible tasks are becoming realities. I wish I had enough time to share every impossible thing that God has made possible in my families personal life but I will refrain and share a few of the Kingdom building impossibilities that through God have become realities.
A few years ago God allowed us to form a sister ministry in Mexico to assist us in training short term teams. Little did we know that three years later we would be planting churches in the most unevangelized area (The Black Heart) of Mexico. If you would have told me early last year that God would use CrossVision teams and associated churches to reach and lead over one thousand souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus in five different countries I would have said bring it on. But I am not sure if I would have put much stock in it. I would like to take credit for my prayers being the reason God used this ministry to distribute nearly 3000 Bibles and sponsor seminary students. I wish it was my great faith that allowed the Family Christmas team to frame a 5000 square foot building in three very short days. But the truth is God chose to use the incredible people he has drawn into this ministry to do what was only impossible in our own eyes.
Well, even though things do not seem quite as impossible in 2010 God has already begun drawing us into some exciting possibilities of His. Can we really exceed last years Bible distribution by 1000 Bibles. Will God use us to reach thousands, will He send us to other countries, and will He draw more missionaries and church planters to join the effort? How many young people will he place under our care and will he draw more families to serve him on mission next Christmas? Will God use this ministry and its associated churches to reach 2 unreached people groups that currently do not have a missionary? Will God supply all the physical needs? Will he use this ministry to send third world country missionaries to other countries and will he call enough workers into the harvest field?
I can’t wait to see him do what only he can do even if it is impossible.
When you pray, when you give and when you go you become part of these incredible possibilities.

Together “We will move forward on our knees” (Eph 6:18)

In Christ Hermano Glen
